Anaida has rendered playback and soundtrack vocals for some of the leading films. For the first time when Walt Disney decided to release a soundtrack of one of their popular films for India, they included a special Hindi song 'Hakuna Matata,' sung by Anaida and Baba Sehgal. The song, included in the Indian release of the soundtrack of Lion King, was also turned into a peppy and playful video. Anaida's rendition of 'Quest,' from the alternate movie Bombay Boys won her the favor of critics who were amazed at her versatility. This was followed by 'Black is black' for another alternate film, Split Wide Open.
Anaida's voice has also been borrowed by mainstream Hindi movies. Among such songs are: 'You gotta fall in love,' for Rajkumar Santoshi; a duet with Sonu Nigam, 'Tum say achha kaun,' for Mujhe Meri Say Bachao; and 'Diwanee Diwanee', for Chori Chori Chupke Chupke.
